The Xbox Experiences and Platforms team is home to the design and engineering work that makes this vision possible, building the developer tools and services that enable game creators to craft incredible experiences, the commerce systems that connect publishers with their audience and help gamers engage with their next favorite games, the platforms on which those games play at their best, and the experiences that turn every screen into an Xbox. 

Responsibilities

You will be part of a team of developers who are eager to learn and grow in their career as they deliver amazing services which help in end-end solutions for the customer. You’ll work closely with other engineers in an agile environment, developing solutions in support of our rapid customer growth, mentoring juniors in the team and taking on larger challenges that help you make a higher impact.  Expect to leverage industry leading standards across various tech stacks including C#, .Net core, Cosmos DB, Azure functions and embrace cutting edge technologies to independently design and build medium to large sized features/microservices on Kubernetes infrastructure.  Our culture values open-respectful dialog, peer mentorship and team reflection in the spirit of continual growth and progression.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience

• 6+ years professional programming experience designing anddeveloping online services .

• Strong, demonstrable coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills in a least one major language (C#, .Net Core preferred)

• Strong knowledge of service design principles

• Ability to take on ambiguous problems, work with Program management team and peers to create a plan, execute and deliver work as committed, on time and with high quality .

• Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Services and NoSQL DB is a plus .
