OGA Fin IT-Opx team works to develop applications for Finance and Quality team. Each resource works with end user to understand requirement and provide accounting solution.

This position has responsibility and capability to work on understanding requirements from business and review/validate accounting rules applied in Peoplesoft General ledger. Analyst will work to research accounting issues as they arise & provide recommended solutions and work well in a team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Tests and validates system changes

• Need to support for onshore hours during month end

• Research accounting issues as they arise and provide recommendations for solutions

• Document the process flow for usability of application

• Structure large data sets to find usable information

• Work with a team of developers to process information

• Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities

• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data

• Actively involved with the automation of manual processes

• Be able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines

• Develops understanding of cost, complexity, and capability tradeoffs in underlying architectures

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Peoplesoft General ledger, accounting & analytics using Excel, Power Query, VBA and or basic SQL

• Hands-on experience excel and managing the excel template for VBA

• Proven experience in Peoplesoft General ledger, accounting & analytics using Excel, Power Query, VBA

• Proven experience driving business performance in a high growth environment

• Experience using database tools and spreadsheet software such as SQL and Excel

• Understanding of Peoplesoft GL and accounting concepts

• Proven critical math skills and a proven ability to difficult calculations

• Proven attention to detail, prioritization skill and time management

• Proven self-motivated and solid analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting

• Proven quick learner with a positive attitude

• Proven solid verbal and oral communication skills
