The ideal candidate for the role of Product Reliability Operations Lead will demonstrate a true passion for building trusting, rewarding customer and employee experiences, operational excellence, and the products and service we provide. This position demands strong organizational skills and problem-solving expertise, while working with current and emerging technologies, and managing team dynamics. Excellent analytical skills, team orientation, flexibility, innovative thinking, problem solving, conflict management, and self-motivation are required for success. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This role should foster key relationships with UKG technical leadership, Strategic partners, and key internal stakeholders. Our team’s mission is to drive the maturity of our products and services while building strong partnerships with EPIC teams to continuously improve them.
Responsibilities
Play a key role in the advancement of strategy, policy, and supporting tools for operations.
Establish and implement training processes for all technical personnel.
Assess documentation requirements based on information received from product teams and prepare documentation plans.
Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes while maintaining documents to support changes for products/services.
Identify areas of opportunity to create efficiencies for key products and/or services, to enhance UKG product offerings.
Facilitate meetings to discuss initiatives and business/ strategy while delivering informative, well-organized presentations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years' experience in an analytical role, working with data to identify trends and make recommendations.
Managerial experience when it comes to both analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Strong analytical skills required, with ability to solve problems.
Excellent technical, business judgement, negotiating and influencing skills.
Excellent verbal/written communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years' experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Solutions Consultant or Technical Program Manager.
Experience in Enterprise SaaS (Software as a Service) offerings, particularly in delivering resilient, scalable, and highly available solutions.
Strong technical acumen – ability to work closely with development teams on a range of technically challenging problems, including service-oriented architecture.
Experience in cross-functional stakeholder management.
Ability to adapt in a start-up environment and collaborate with a growing team.
Comfortable working with senior business leaders and their teams.
