The Role: Lead I, Software Development/Engineering

T he Team: The team is responsible for building software products in a key strategic platform using emerging tools and technologies. The team works in a significant environment that gives ample opportunities to use creative ideas to take on complex software problems. You will have the opportunity every single day to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and will be able to develop a close team dynamic with coworkers from around the globe.

The Impact: You will be making meaningful contribution in building solutions for the User Interfaces/Webservices/API/Data Processing. The work you do will make client compliance with financial taxing in both US & Non-US entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new module/component and enhance existing functionality to high standards. Adhere to best practices that enhance user experience, usability, scalability, performance, and security.

  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of reusable standards and libraries.

  • Work on technology upgrades (.NET / UI frameworks), research new technologies and suggest as well as implement best possible upgrade paths.

  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with main stakeholders involved in the project – peer developers, dev lead, QA team and business analysts.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's /Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 8-12+ years of relevant experience. 

  • Good knowledge of OOPS, C#, ASP.NET 3.5/4.0/4.8, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server 2012-17, Ajax, Webservices/Web Api. 

  • Good experience in .Net Core & Angular. 

  • Good experience in building the design of new applications. 

  • Good knowledge of OWASP top 10 and should be able to fix security issues. 

  • Knowledge of MVC 4/5, Multilingual, XML and XSLT, 3-tier architecture. 

  • Strong JavaScript skills with good knowledge of jQuery. 

  • Knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures. 

  • Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3. 

  • Good knowledge of Desing Patterns. 

  • Good understanding of Websites and Web applications. 

  • Good Knowledge of Entity Framework, LINQ and REST APIs. 

  • Knowledge of TFS, GIT, JIRA. 

  • The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record actively contributing to the implementation of innovative, best-practice-based, technical solutions in a complex and challenging environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in cloud technologiesspecially AWS.  

  • Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies like Ex: Scrum and industry best practices. 

  • Thorough understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles: object-oriented design, databases, algorithms, data structures, usability, refactoring, debugging, and configuration management. 

  • Excellent design and problem-solving skills and disciplined, engineering oriented mind set. 

  • Ability to do perform independent research and generating new ideas will be a plus. 

  • Good Knowledge of TFS/GIT. 

  • The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record actively contributing to the implementation of innovative, best-practice-based, technical solutions in a complex and challenging environment. 

  • Experience in implementing and cloud deploying techniques on Docker and Kubernetes.
