Primary Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day operations of the department to achieve documented company, division, and department objectives

  • This includes items included in the position summary and the following: engineer packages and deployments of operating system images and end user device software

  • Perform product analysis, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, troubleshooting and support. Coordinate with multiple teams and departments to implement, maintain, support, and enhance the end user device experience, and work with Infrastructure teams to ensure a common user experience between end user devices and other third-party vendors, such as Citrix

  • Perform system administration and updates as required, including anti-virus updates, operating system, and software updates

  • Manage and administer systems such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (System Center Configuration Manager and Microsoft EMS /Intune) and Active Directory environments

  • Research complex technical problems and identify, implement, document, and communicate technical fixes

  • Function as Tier-3 technical escalation point for large scale or complex end-user problems. Review Incident Reports to identify systemic end user device issues

  • Participate in a collaborative design and solution delivery environment

  • Adheres to all documented departmental policies, procedures, and knowledge base documentation

  • Accurately follows documentation and checklists to ensure efficiency and consistency with all build, test, and validation activities

  • Uses routine troubleshooting methodologies that provide efficient, effective resolution, and minimize impact to the customer

  • Maintains detailed and accurate records in workload management, asset management, and administrative applications

  • Actively maintains education and cross-training on all departmental areas of expertise

  • Maintains certifications and attends training when available and appropriate

  • Role model and mentor to all levels in the department for all areas of support and function

  • Assists leadership in identifying opportunities for process improvement within and outside of the department

  • May perform other duties upon request

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Any Bachelor’s degree

  • Certification - SCCM

  • Certification - Windows Server Admin

  • 7 - 10 years of relevant experience

  • Experience tracking and remediating software vulnerabilities

  • Experience troubleshooting\managing Windows 10 and Microsoft's upgrade cycle

  • Experience managing/configuring Microsoft 365 Apps

  • Experience with Wise Script

  • Knowledgeable in reading and understanding of Configuration Manager logs to resolve issues

  • Knowledgeable in distributing Windows updates to workstations via Configuration Manager

  • Knowledgeable with Windows Store

  • Knowledgeable in OSD (Operating Systems Deployment) experience using Configuration Manager Task Sequences

  • Knowledge with MS Intune

  • Knowledge with software packaging

  • Knowledgeable in the management and configuration of Group Policy Objects (GPOs)

  • Skilled in troubleshooting application installation issues on workstations

Preferred Qualification:

  • Certification - Intune
