As part of our commitment to building a unified platform for all products, we are seeking an experienced Director of Product Management to lead one of our Flex/Platform value streams. This position is responsible for driving the strategy, development, and delivery of solutions for UKG's unified platform, and leading a team of Product Managers in that effort.

The product team and the development teams are distributed across multiple geographies – mainly Noida, India and the US East coast.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to build and scale a part of UKG’s Flex Platform. Your work will impact both internal and external stakeholders, and the solutions you lead will contribute to all of UKG’s strategic intents.

Ideal candidates have experience with developer platforms, enterprise SaaS platforms, and HCM/WFM products.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance and support in product strategy, roadmap development, and execution.

  • Product Strategy: Define and execute product strategy, aligning it with UKG's overall platform vision and business objectives.

  • Roadmap Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and UX, to create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that delivers innovative solutions and meets customer needs.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams, to gather feedback, understand customer requirements, and ensure successful product launches. Also, evangelize the platform across the organization.

  • Product Performance: Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and iterate on the product strategy to optimize customer satisfaction and business impact.

  • Industry Thought Leadership and Market Analysis: Keep tabs on industry trends, best practices, competitive information, and emerging technologies in identity and access management, and contribute to thought leadership inside and outside the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum required qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in product management, including a track record of at least 5 years successfully leading and managing SaaS product teams.

  • Experience empowering internal engineering teams via a world-class developer experience platform that simplifies platform adoption.

  • Global Perspective: Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment.

  • Prioritization: Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with consistency and transparency, leveraging data as part of making decisions wherever possible.

  • Data Driven: Ability to be envision, collect and analyze data that helps reduce risk of what to build and how to build it and leads to customer success.

  • Technical Background: Solid technical acumen with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and understand complex technical requirements but also to break complex topics into simple terms for diverse audiences.

  • Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to think strategically, develop product strategies, and translate them into actionable plans.

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing product teams and individuals who reach their potential.

  • Customer-Focused: Deep customer empathy with a passion for understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional user experiences. Experience working with both end customers and Engineering as a customer is a plus.

  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
