Our client is on the lookout for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their automation solutions team near Niles MI. Your expertise will drive innovation in mechanical system design and architecture, ensuring projects are not only successful but also profitable. Automation system design experience required, as well as experience with Solidworks, Autocad, equipment selection, etc. Company boasts dynamic and friendly corporate culture as well as excellent benefits. responsibilities:

• Produce working drawings, detail drawings, and bills of materials for equipment, sub-assemblies or product using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine shape, dimensions, hardness etc. in the development of equipment, processes, and products.

• Examine the feasibility of using one or more machines to carry out sequential operations.

• Analyze designs and systems for compliance to applicable standards

• Review drawings for accuracy, material selection, proper machining techniques, finishes, hardness, etc.
