POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Actively participate in technical support operations, assisting with customer needs

• Respond to customer requests, identifying problems, and providing the customers with all the necessary information to resolve their issues

• Seek to understand problems and then reproduce, localize, and describe them before passing them on to developers.

• Find workarounds for problems.

• Work extensively with the issue tracker (e.g. JIRA), searching for existing similar reports and submitting new ones.

• Maintain issue tracker log for customers, per customer.

• Contribute to both internal and external documentation.

• Maintain the knowledge base and documentation.

• Maintain, administer and support tools used in deploying the solution.

• Setup, configure and deliver demos of solutions both to internal and external users

• Support the QA processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s and/ or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.

• Knowledge and experience in one (or more) of the following: ASP.NET, C#, Java, HTML, XML, Web Services .

• Ability to work from rudimentary requirements and specifications.

• Good knowledge of SQL programming, preferably Ms SQL Server.

• Ability to prioritize assignments, handles shifting deadlines, and work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an understanding of existing and emerging technologies.

• Ability to prioritize workload and work well under pressure to meet deadlines and manage business expectations.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Self-directed and keen on learning.

• A good command of the English language (oral and written) is a must.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 0-5 years of relevant experience

• Familiar with major OSs, SSH.

• Network connectivity troubleshooting

• Linux OS fundamentals
