Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.
This Opportunity
We are seeking a Permanent Full-Time Community Support Leader (CSL) for our LNPSS program.
Starting wage: $25.18 per hour
Additional compensation: $3.00 per hour temporary wage enhancement for hours spent directly supporting clients
Benefits: Paid travel time and mileage
Duties :
Lead the safe and efficient delivery of services to consumers with disabilities
Supervise and train attendants providing assistance with daily living activities
Participate in the on-call rotation
Manage service agreements and connect consumers with community resources
Provide leadership and ongoing coaching for attendants
Participate in quality improvement activities
Handle conflict resolution and service delivery challenges
Qualifications:
Current Standard First Aid and CPR Certification
Minimum of two years' experience in human services, specifically with physical disabilities
Ability to lead, train, and coach staff
Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of physical disabilities and behavior management principles
General understanding of computer hardware and software
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Ability to work flexible shifts, including every other weekend
