Overview

Stryten Energy manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.

This individual manages multiple supervisors operating 4 shifts in a continuous operation battery casing and vent manufacturing plant. He / she will be responsible for providing leadership to include safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery for injection molding and vent assembly departmental operations.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. Salary range for this role is: $80,000 - $90,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Assure compliance with all safety and health policies and procedures.

• Enforce and coach on safety disciplines and create an understanding of our safety culture.

• Manage the distribution of product within the standards of budget, policies, procedures, priorities, and quality.

• Directly supervise shift supervisors.

• Develop and implement methods to improve productivity, space utilization, and quality.

• Train and develop supervision to include hourly workforce.

• Determine required staffing and maintain efficient use of hours.

• Monitor and assure housekeeping and orderliness throughout the department.

• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure optimal efficiency.

• Comply with current Quality Systems requirements.

• Support Lean Manufacturing procedures.

• Perform other work as assigned by the Operations Manager or Plant Manager

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing-based setting including at least one year of injection molding experience.

• Collaborative/team based management style

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with capability to convey ideas in concise and logical manner

• Drive and energy necessary to grow manufacturing throughput in a plant with expanding operations

• Demonstrated track record of continuous improvement, creativity and results

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Industrial environment, both inside and outside the plant. The employee will be exposed to lead, fumes, noise, dirt, hazards, chemicals, heat and cold
