Location: Newtown, PA

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30a.m. - 5:00p.m.   

Expected Starting Salary: $37,000.00 per year (commensurate with experience)  

Job Summary**:

Responsible for supporting the job activities within Deposit Operations.  Performs various departmental duties as well as Proof duties. Flexibly participates in responsibilities depending on need. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Review/proofread new accounts, online account processing, mobile deposit review, account maintenance, reclamations, decedent reporting, escrow sub accounting, performing back office settlement of GL accounts and ATM's, customer debit card maintenance and card production, Bond redemption, suspense, two signer/high dollar items, charge backs and resolving customer calls concerning various issues with excellent customer service technique.

Must be able to work in a fast pace multi-departmental environment, with attention to detail.

Education and/or Experience:                                                                          

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of one year related experience and/or training in a financial institution; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Clearly communicates in English; moderate reading, writing and grammar skills; proficient analytical and mathematics skills; proficient communicative and interpersonal relations skills.  Moderate PC skills and working knowledge of Cmse, and other bank operating systems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Willingness to attend webinars, seminars and conferences (on-property and off-property) pertinent to the department to keep abreast of the latest developments affecting the Bank and its industry.
