Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Residential Maintenance Operations to oversee all aspects of maintenance operations for our residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, demonstrated leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our residents. This position includes a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize maintenance operations and enhance the overall resident experience.

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.

• Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting, expense control, and vendor negotiations, to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of equipment and minimize downtime.

• Oversee relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to contractual agreements.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

• Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing residential maintenance operations, preferably in a multi-site environment.

• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance practices.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.

• Proficiency in budget management, financial analysis, and vendor negotiations.
