As a Family Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating family meetings, providing in-home support to prevent children from coming into DCF custody, coaching families to have safe and nurturing time with their children who are placed in DCF custody, and reaching out to extended family members to garner support. We are searching for candidates who understand the complex issues facing families including addiction, substance abuse, domestic violence and generational poverty. Extensive training is provided.
