McLaughlin Research Corporation PROGRAM MANAGER-SS in Newport, Rhode Island

McLaughlin Research Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager (PM)to support a contract with the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, Rhode Island. The qualified candidate will be part of a team that enables the conceptualization, modernization, and maintenance of systems that ensure our Navy's undersea superiority. Our PMs manage the overall planning, direction and success of large, multi-year efforts.

Position responsibilities:

  • Overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long-range plans including formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach
  • Defining and negotiating with company personnel for necessary resources.
  • Establishing, monitoring, and controlling technical milestones, schedules, resource and financial projections, budgets and costs
  • Conducting annual employee evaluations, facilitating the hiring process and recommending candidates
  • Supporting customer relations and satisfaction and monitoring program profit and loss

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university with ten (10) years professional experience.
  • Ten (10) years of managing all aspects of Federal Government contract performance
  • Experience managing services and organizing resources to simultaneously support multiple projects.
  • Excellent communications, writing, analytical, and organizational skills
  • A U.S. citizen and have eligibility for a security clearance
