Nutrition House Inc A Market Newport Prep Cook Kitchen Staff in Newport, Rhode Island
Prep Cook/Kitchen Staff: Job duties will include but are not limited to:
Vegetable Prep (wash, prep via hand chopping or food processor)
Meat cooking, slicing and portioning. Cooking methods will include rotisserie oven, convection oven bake or grilling. Hand slicing and meat slicer will both be required.
Preparation/Packaging of Meat Salads. Must be able to follow basic recipes that include meat, vegetables, simple slurries. Portion, weigh and label for retail sale.
Preparation of Hummuses. Must be able to follow basic recipes that include processing beans, vegetables and simple slurries. Portion, weigh and label for retail sale.
Soup Bar. Heat pre-made soups and keep soup bar full throughout the day. Maintain cleanliness of soup bar.
Dishes and cleaning of equipment used is the expectation throughout the day. Trash, compost, emptying grease trap is part of daily cleaning.
