McLaughlin Research Corporation LOGISTICIAN II-JD2 in Newport, Rhode Island

McLaughlin Research Corporation (MRC) is seeking a Logistician II with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, is detail oriented, and has experience working with cross-functional teams to support our NUWCDIVNPT Code 45 Logistics and Fleet Support customers. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, schedule driven environment. Additional experience requirements include:

  • Ability to interface with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Navy Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), and In-Engineering Agents (ISEAs)Po
  • Develop Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans including Supply Support Plans.
  • Develop Provisioning Technical Documentation including Parts Provisioning Lists (PPLs) and APLs/AELs.
  • Create and review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and drawings for ILS impact.

*Job Requirements: *

Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, to all levels of the customer organization.

Possess working knowledge of submarine supply support internal workings and processes

Possess a general technical background in submarine drawings and documentation

Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, is required.

Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance

Experience with US Navy Submarine Systems is a plus.

Experience supporting NUWCDIVNPT inventory management, property management, and other logistics-related tasks. Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of ICAPS, Navy ERP, CDMD-OA, TDMIS, and Haystack logistics databases to perform various logistics tasks related to inventory and parts management. Equal Employment Opportunity Statement:
