Marine Chemist Service Environmental Field Technician in Newport News, Virginia
[Seeking persons to fill an entry level position as an industrial hygiene field technician. This position involves physical labor, climbing, crawling, lifting and carrying 20-50 pounds, high/low temperatures, heights and small spaces. Persons must have at least a high school diploma/GED, an unrestricted driver's license, be at least 18 years old, and be a US citizen. We will provide all necessary training and most PPE.
[Local Environmental Laboratory has immediate opening for an Industrial Hygiene Technician. A BS degree in Environmental Science is preferred, but not required. Person will be trained in Asbestos, Lead Paint, Mold Sampling and Survey work. Also the person will be trained in a wide variety of Environmental Sampling. Candidate will have to pass drug screening and background checks. A good driving record is required.
