In this role, you will program and maintain file revisions of client parts, interpret engineering blueprints to create flat pattern layouts, collaborate with client engineers, reverse engineer parts for manufacturing, and make cost-effective machine and tooling selections. You will also design and procure necessary tools, prepare detailed work instructions, and utilize CAD/CAM software to optimize run and programming times.

Requirements:

· Attention to Detail.

• · Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and their applications.· Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production & interpretation of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models, specifically for sheet metal manufacturing.· Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials used in sheet metal manufacturing, production processes, bend deductions, turret punch press tooling, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.· Time Management – Ability to organize tasks in order of importance and use time most effectively in order to complete all work in a timely manner.· Engineering – Engineering experience / background with strong mechanical aptitude is helpful.Minimum Qualifications:· Min 3 years programming CNC Punch Press for Sheet Metal Fabrication. Experience programming CNC Lasers is helpful but not required.· REQUIRED: Working knowledge of SolidWorks -you must have used this for sheet metal fabrication; CAMWorks; and a computerized nesting software preferably SigmaNEST.· Ability to understand G Codes including ability to write, edit and troubleshoot production and technical issues.

Pay Details: $34.00 per hour
