Robert Half is partnering with a well-known and reputable firm in Newport Beach, CA. Searching for legal assistants in the area!

What you get to do every day:

• Assist Litigation Department

• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda.

• File court documents

• Identify and submit legal documents for docketing, court and case deadlines using firm software.

• Management of ongoing assigned court and case deadlines

• Assist attorneys with reviewing, organizing, and summarizing case materials, mail, and other case related documents

• Assist in preparation of privilege log

• Create, revise, and proofread documents with high accuracy

• Assist with mediation and trial preparation

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree and/or ABA approved paralegal certificate highly preferred

• Prior litigation experience as a legal secretary and/or junior paralegal preferred

• State and federal e-filings

• Attention to detail, ability to balance multiple projects and strong time management skills

• Ability to process routine daily functions while being able to resolve sensitive issues and complex assignments utilizing above average critical thinking skills
