Cook 2

The Cook 2 position is a mid-level position that works multiple stations normally consisting of Sauté, Pastas, or Hearth. This position requires attention to detail, follow through, and the ability to multitask and prioritize needs while maintaining composure, focus, and productivity.

Duties & Expectations

  • Sears and temperatures of fish are perfected.

  • More service awareness and communication, a strong observer and facilitator of tickets during service.

  • Techniques and recipes are more complicated, understanding fully - Hydrocolloids, Braising, Blanching, Sauteing/Searing, Roasting and Purees.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School, Culinary School or Apprentice Program Graduate

  • Prior experience in a Private Club, Hotel, Resort or Restaurant working different stations

  • Ability to be on one’s feet for long periods of time

  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop when necessary

  • Ability to lift but not exceed 40lbs
