Essential Functions:

• Operates company-issued trucks to receive and deliver shipments from various locations including but not limited to company warehouses, vendors, stores, etc.
• Unloads and loads trucks with packages, bulk materials, or other products.
• Verifies all shipments are labeled and ready for delivery.
• Examines deliveries to ensure shipments contain correct products and are in good condition.
• Inspects and ensures all shipments are safely secured in vehicle before delivery.
• Arranges and organizes shipments to maximize space utilization and simplify delivery route and process.
• Inspects vehicles and reports any issues team lead or upper management; completes truck inspection sheet before first trip.
• Works with appropriate teams to arrange shipments and transportation of goods to be stored at Daimler warehouse.
• Processes all order requests/transfers on a reoccurring and timely basis for all supply rooms.
• Picks up shredding pallets, barrels or ducts, and misc. items and transports to appropriate warehouse for storage. Notify Lead Driver of shipment update and completion.
• Replenishes stone material for GL Plaster rooms.
• Gathers defected, poor quality, and/or non-working materials and equipment (i.e., articulator, blocks, etc.) back to the warehouse.
• Moves materials through the use of equipment moving machinery such as hand trucks, forklifts, and golf carts.
• Maintains and updates receiving and distribution shipment logs with shipment information.
• Performs count of inventory supply levels and verifies against expected levels. Reports discrepancies between physical counts and database records.
• Maintains organization with the warehouse by arranging and moving goods to designated locations; ensures inventory are at accurate levels.
• Assist in pick up/drop off of metal plates to Machine Shop, assembling of chairs and wire carts,
• Assists in storing and retrieving other departments products within warehouse for internal customers.
• Provides assistance to appropriate warehouse team as needed and/or requested by management to ensure a productive and timely workflow.
• Follows and adheres to the rules of the road, traffic laws, and companys driving safety and driving policy.
• Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in driving and delivery, warehouse environment preferred.
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to comply and adhere to company driving policies and requirements.
• Must complete and pass forklift certification.

Pay Rate$18-19/hr
