Position Overview

Support Sales and Project Management in the development of customer oriented financial proposals of undersea cable system networks during all project phases.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales activity (commercial and pricing) related to system sales, cable sales and small project sales

  • Develop offer term sheets (bid preparation), interfacing with multiple organizations as necessary to define and audit scope of the deal

  • Perform the development and detailed analysis of pricing strategy, pricing schedules, project costs, margins, and cash flows

  • Handle commercial contractual issues associated with contracts, including but not limited to evaluating terms and conditions of sales, customer interaction and negotiation and writing and interpreting contractual language with the assistance of the Legal Department

  • Participate in business strategy, proposal kick-off briefings, and internal proposal reviews by conducting requirements gathering with all functional areas and preparing documents for internal management reviews

  • Provide cost, price, margin, and cash flow support to Project Managers for contract variations

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required

  • A minimum of three to five years’ experience with developing and responding to customer quotes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS word and PowerPoint

  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail within a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • International and domestic travel without much notice will be required at times
