Job Description

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of electromagnetic and RF, and be a driven, committed team player.

Our EM/RF designers are responsible for designing and simulating all passive aspects of power amplifier module designs including low-loss output matching networks, high-directivity couplers, harmonic filters, multiplexers and high isolation layouts for SAW/FBAR duplexers.

Responsibilities

Our RF/EM Design Engineers will design passive RF circuit designs in a fast-paced team environment. There is a heavy emphasis to work closely with PA/SOI/Filter design engineers to produce optimal co-design results.

The responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Designing RF BAW filters

• Designing semi-lumped RF matching networks in a PCB environment

• Designing high-isolation laminate layouts to support high-rejection SAW and BAW filters

• Co-designing and simulating power amplifier, switch and LNA designs

• Participating and conducting design reviews

• Generating circuit specifications

• Performing lab testing using RF test equipment

• The circuit blocks involved in a typical product development include:

• Power Amplifiers

• SAW/BAW Duplexers & High-Q RF Filters

• Switches

Qualifications

BSEE with 8 years experience or MSEE with 6 years or PhD with 3years emphasis in RF and EM background

Innovative problem solver

A passion to win/contribute

Ability to work in and thrive in a team environment

Lab experience using a network analyzer

RF/EM design experience

Power amplifier knowledge is a plus

Preferred Skills:

MSEE or PhD

Knowledge of acoustic assisted filter designs and filter design experiences are not a must but preferred to have
