Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Data Analyst Winter/Spring Co-Op to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and extensive knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, including macros and look-up tables. The ability to learn new software and programs as opportunities or department needs arise is essential. Additionally, experience in marketing or market research, an electrical engineering background, and being an MBA candidate are highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
Utilize MS Office tools, especially Excel, to manage and analyze data.
Develop and maintain Excel macros and look-up tables.
Learn and adapt to new software and programs as required.
Create data visualizations and perform data analysis using Microsoft PowerBI or equivalent software such as Tableau.
Conduct market research to gather data on consumer needs, preferences, and trends.
Analyze marketing data to provide insights and recommendations for marketing strategies.
Collaborate with team members to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Current MBA candidate or recent MBA graduate.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and superior follow-up and follow-through skills.
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and primary responsibilities as per priorities set by the team.
Proven experience with MS Office, particularly Excel.
Proficiency in creating and managing Excel macros and look-up tables.
Experience with data visualization and analytics software such as Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies quickly.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in marketing or market research.
Background in electrical engineering.
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
