As Global Training & Product Launch Manager for Mako , you will partner with sales and marketing leaders to assess and analyze business needs, market strategy, and training opportunities in order to drive Mako's growth. You will act as the lead subject matter expert for Mako and be responsible for developing, planning and conducting training for new products and new Mako markets – ensuring alignment with corporate training objectives. Through collaboration with marketing, R&D, usability, etc., you will develop innovative training strategies that maximize the use of technology to maintain and grow world-class standards.

For this position, you are located either in The Netherlands or in the UK within commutable distance to Amsterdam or Newbury (as our Mako education centers in Europe are based in these locations). We offer great workplace flexibility with a hybrid work model .

What you will do:

  • In your new role, you will work to achieve subject matter expert status regarding our Mako portfolio.

  • Design and develop course curriculum, training objectives, content, and workshops for new Mako product launches & training events.

  • Facilitate training courses and workshops based on adult learning principles and identified business needs.

  • Deliver effective facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills to course attendees throughout training courses.

  • Perform global Mako/Joint Replacement training needs assessments in partnership with the local sales education, sales leadership, and marketing teams.

  • Foster and lead team collaboration for new Mako product launches with marketing, medical education, product marketing, etc.

  • Evaluate global Mako training programs quality, ensuring global consistency and effectiveness.

  • Model compliance throughout all activities and interactions.

  • Maintain and track training documentation, ensuring records are complete for all global markets.

  • Deliver global trainer certification program.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, master’s degree is preferred.

  • 8+ years of work experience is required.

  • 5+ years of medical device sales, marketing, clinical experience, or education experience is preferred.

  • Experience in industries such as MedTech, BioTech or within orthopaedics is not mandatory – but it is highly preferred.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and educate diverse audiences.

  • Proven track record of driving, developing and delivering impactful educational programs and materials.

  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

  • As this is a global position, you have the flexibility to travel to the United States and other international and domestic locations as needed (travel percentage: 40% or more depending on the projects you’d be working on).
