We are on the lookout for a diligent Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients team in the manufacturing industry located in Newberg, OR. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be tasked with essential duties such as filing, invoicing, and processing checks. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in an on-site work environment.

Responsibilities

• Filing and organizing necessary documents to maintain an efficient and orderly system.

• Accurately processing incoming mail to ensure timely response to correspondence.

• Managing the invoicing process, ensuring all invoices are issued in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Processing checks, ensuring all payments are made accurately and on time.

• Utilizing accounting software systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to manage and record transactions.

• Performing account coding to ensure accurate financial records.

• Conducting regular audits to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date.

• Addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a prompt and professional manner.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Coding is essential for this role.

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively is essential.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial.

• Prior experience in Auditing is highly desirable.

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy are required.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is necessary.
