Printing Press Operator (Newark, NJ) - Full Time Set up and operate digital, letterpress, lithographic, flexographic, gravure, or other printing machines. Includes short-run offset printing presses. Set up, adjust, maintain, and operate a Mark Andy flexographic press. Install Anilox rollers, plate inks, and die them into proper stations, making necessary adjustments to maintain the quality of production. Notify supervision of needed repairs and replacement parts. Ensure that assigned equipment is properly maintained and in safe operating condition. Inspect and test the printing machine and its components to ensure that it is functioning properly. Identified and resolved any issues that arose during the printing process. Select the appropriate colors for each printing project and ensure that the correct color values are entered into the machine's control system.Position Requirements:No education required. Must have 12 months of previous experience in job offered or as Press Operator or closely related.
