What you will do
The Request for Proposal (RFP) Writer will have the primary responsibility of coordinating responses to due diligence questionnaires from clients and consultants. The RFP Writer will also support the RFP Team in all phases of the proposal process, working closely with and under the supervision of the Director, RFPs. The RFP Writer will also work closely with the sales team, client management team and other subject matter experts. The individual will be critical to the continued growth of PGIM Fixed Income. This position will be based in Newark, New Jersey.
What you can expect
Assists senior team in the development of a broad range of projects including RFPs, consultant requests, and client questionnaires.
Research, write, and edit responses to due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), requests for information (RFIs), and requests for proposals (RFPs), as a part of the sales process and for ongoing client management.
Collaborate with members of the sales, marketing, client management, portfolio management, compliance, legal, or product teams to ensure that content is complete, accurate, and timely.
Effectively manage and coordinate time and responsibilities related to RFP/DDQ preparation and distribution.
Ensure project owners and management are kept updated on progress, status and issues
What you will bring
Bachelors degree, emphasis in Finance, Business Management preferred.
RFP writer experience (2-3 years) preferably at an asset management firm
Financial services or investment management experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with or understanding of fixed income and credit preferred
Strong communication, writing and editing skills
Strong project management skills with a particular attention to detail.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple action items at once
Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-oriented atmosphere
Ability to work well both independently and as a team member
Ability to manage time/schedules independently and manage a heavy workload during peak periods.
Ability to organize, prioritize tasks and work in a deadline-oriented environment
Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $75,000 to $100,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
