Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
Strong and effective leadership skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient computer skills
Preferred:
Critical Care experience
Skilled in computer systems and data analysis
Certifications and Licenses Required:
Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
BLS from the American Heart Association

Full Time
Essential Functions:
Manage patient throughput by prioritizing internal and external requests for admission and transfers using clinical assessment and approved criteria for level of care orders and bed assignments.
This process involves collaboration with nurses, physicians, and other disciplines.
Conducts rounds to assess the day-to-day operations on the units, communicating the needs of critical areas such as the Emergency Department, Operating Room, and Cath Lab while also gathering information on discharges and barriers.
Utilize data analytics to evaluate and improve patient throughput and satisfaction that align with departmental and organizational goals.
Oversees and coordinates the activities of the Logistics Command Center to ensure timely and efficient bed placement.
Facilitates daily interdisciplinary logistics huddles to ensure the optimization and implementation of capacity management strategies.
Operates with a high degree of autonomy while utilizing and applying the core values of the health system.
