Prudential is standing a start up operating environment within the existing Individual Life Insurance US businesses to accelerate and win in the Simplified Solutions space. As a Director of Partner Optimization, youre responsible for a book of business of strategic partnerships in which Prudential is offering Simplified Solutions through multiple paths across B2B, B2C or B2B2C.
Responsibilities include client relationship and internal Prudential partner relationship management, generating incremental opportunities and monetizing customer touch points. This position will also be responsible for constructing and coordinating the infrastructure, processes, sales strategy and program management for the Strategic Partnership offering. The success of this role would solely rely on outcomes that aggregate to the annual sales goal for the start-up.
What you can expect:
Responsibility for executing on the partnership strategy to broaden and deepen relationships
Main activities (not limited to) include onboarding, training, sales review, preparing business review, problem solving and overall strategic relationship management
Regular maintenance and communication of sales performance vs plan with the ability to explain the rationale on key drivers and dependencies
Partner with key subject matter experts to position and deliver our value proposition in market
Ability to think above and beyond the current partnership with a growth and can-do mindset
Work with the partner to design programs and pilots to improve penetration, quotes, conversion and overall strengthening of the sales funnel regardless of the distribution path chosen
Participate and collaborate across other units including Product, Technology, Marketing etc. to increase business results and execute on key initiatives
Delivery of incremental opportunities on an ongoing basis with assigned partnerships, including negotiating, making recommendations, reporting and delivering plans to assigned firms
Responsible for acting in a manner that supports a positive, inclusive, ethical and high performing team/work environment and organizational climate
What youll need:
Bachelors degree a plus
5+ years experience in the financial services industry
3-5 years experience in a start-up and or partner distribution (financial services)
Experience in or exposure to channel and digital marketing
Experience working with digital marketing campaigns with measurable outcomes
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work across functions and organizational maturity
A working knowledge of the insurance start up landscape
Experience working with sales distribution
Experience with generating engagement using marketing traditional and digital
Experience partnering with and maneuvering with large organizations in an agile manner
Highly organized and able to manage varied activities at ease and control
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills required

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $148,800.00 to $201,200.00.
