Summary:
Entry-level analyst position to assist the governance, risk, and compliance division in establishing and enforcing policy to secure NJ TRANSIT.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develops plans, procedures, guidelines, and policies.
Ensures corporate policies and standards are adhered to.
Creates documentation required to satisfy regulatory and compliance requirements.
Reviews of application requirements to ensure compliance and minimal risk.
Assesses of vendors’ security posture and documents risk.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or one year of closely related work experience can be substituted for each year of education required.
Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS, and HIPAA.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java would be a plus.
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and present technical information to a non-technical audience.
