JPMorgan Chase Securitized Products Transaction Management Associate in Newark, Delaware

As a Transaction Management Associate in the Securitized Products Middle Office (SPG MO) team, your daily responsibilities will include trade management, risk management and control of over various product lines. JPMorgan is currently the market leader across these areas and has been a key driver behind the ongoing development of the marketplace. Daily tasks include: Review of loans pledged as collateral, preparation and analysis of borrowing base calculations, processing of advances, paydowns, margin calls, and remittance requests, review and approval of deal configurations, and break analysis. Job responsibilities:

  • Review of loans pledged as collateral, preparation and analysis of borrowing base calculations, processing of advance and pay down requests, maintenance of deal terms in loan and collateral systems

  • Update loan systems (LoanIQ/ABSolute) and collateral systems (Vulcan/Client Portal) timely with client activity

  • Resolve routine exceptions regarding ineligible loans, failed sublimits, margin calls, and documentary exceptions with Clients and Front Office partners

  • Perform and create various reconciliations and reporting at deal and business level

  • Understand and approve configurations based on review of complex legal documentation

  • Ensure compliance with audit, control and quality requirements

  • Adhere to defined policies and procedures to ensure a controlled environment

  • Communicate with Front Office, Trustees, Clients and other internal departments to support clients, resolve issues and respond to inquiries

  • Participate in special projects and department/bank initiatives as necessary

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • College degree in Finance/Accounting or 4+ years equivalent work experience related to trade support and loan processing

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills

  • Highly organized, extremely detailed and control orientated; strong desire to understand the full process/business flow

  • Ability to review and understand complex legal documentation such as Master Repurchase Agreements, Pricing Side Letters, Loan & Security Agreements, Indentures, and Custodial Agreements

  • Ability to effectively prioritize to meet the competing demands of Clients and Front Office partners

  • Excellent communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills; ability to develop relationships across several different client bases

  • Strong PC Skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work independently (self-motivated and demonstrated leadership abilities) and within a team (strong teamwork skills)

  • Ability to assimilate new products and processes quickly

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Familiarity with automation programs such as Alteryx or Xceptor

Work Schedule:

  • This hybrid role requires going into the office three days a week with two days' flexibility to work from home, subject to change
