JPMorgan Chase Risk Reporting Associate in Newark, Delaware
The Wholesale Credit Risk Reporting team (WCRR) is responsible for providing complete, timely, accurate, and useful data about credit risk to key stakeholders including the Operating Committee, Firmwide Chief Risk Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Wholesale Chief Credit Risk Officer, senior Credit Risk Management, Finance, and Regulatory Reporting.
Wholesale Credit Risk Reporting is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual for this analytical role that will work with Credit Risk Management and Technology teams by assisting in designing reports, establishing processes, and driving implementation with a strong control framework.
This position requires experience with manipulating large volumes of data and communicating upwards and will acquire a broad understanding of the portfolios being analyzed through training and direct relationship with our stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop processes/workflows for gathering data and produce reports with strong controls and accurate analytics
Aggregate data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive reporting
Adapt quickly to any changes required in the reporting process
Identify and monitor data quality controls associated with the inputs and outputs from the risk systems
Document instructions and details concerning generation, completion, and distribution of reports
Perform portfolio analysis of the firm's Wholesale Credit Risk exposure in support of monthly and quarterly reporting to senior risk management.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
Quantitative and analytical skills with ability to understand new analytical concepts
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or Business
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
4-7 years of experience in risk and/or financial reporting
Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working within a team environment as well as communicating across departments
Ability to work on multiple priorities at the same time within tight deadlines, demonstrating excellent organizational skills
Tableau and Alteryx knowledge is preferred but not required
