URGENT REMOTE ROLE

Title: Staff Accountant

Pay: $32-40/hr.

Industry: Software

Location: Pennsylvania (role is 100% and will operate on Eastern Standard Time)

Hello! One of the largest tax software companies in the world is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team! This organization is one of the largest employers in their industry and prides themselves on work life balance and giving flexibility to their employees. The person in this role will be responsible for performing month end close functions, including journal entries, reconciliations and accruals. They will also help transition bank statements into the Workday ERP system and other ad hoc requests. Please see below for a more detailed job description:

Job Description:

This Staff Accountant will be supporting the Corporate Accounting group with cash reconciliations, month end close, transitioning bank statements into Workday and various other tasks pre and post Workday go-live. They will be working heavily within Excel on a daily basis.

Expected duties:

• Cash reconciliations

• General ledger

• Month ends close

• Accruals

• Workpaper reconciliations

• Ensure appropriate support for data conversion/reconciliation and workpapers are in compliance with SOX controls

• Additional ad hoc requests in support of Workday go-live

Must-have qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics

• Five+ years of experience with U.S. GAAP within an organization greater than $100 million in revenue

• Two+ years of experience with cash reconciliations since 2018 or more recent

• Five+ years of experience with journal entries, general ledger and reconciliations for month end close

• Three+ years of experience with an ERP such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, JDE, NetSuite or Hyperion (can be in conjunction)

• Three+ years of experience creating pivot tables, VLOOKUP's and formulas from scratch within Microsoft Excel

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Workday ERP experience

• Experience within an ERP integration or upgrade

• Software or Fintech industry experience
