Job Description

Summary

The Engineering Documentation Manager will be responsible for responsible for the day-to-day management of the Change Analyst Process to ensure documentation and engineering changes meet applicable customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and understand changes made to engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, requirements, procedures, and departmental processes

  • Maintain and manage part data, including product lifecycle management (PLM), new product introduction (NPI), bill of materials (BOMs), and engineering drawings, and documented procedures through a controlled change management process in Agile PLM software

  • Plan, draft, and support engineering change orders (ECOs) in Agile software

  • Monitor and maintain the progress of ECO requests to ensure they are reviewed by their approvers in a timely manner

  • Regulating the change process to ensure that approved and validated changes are incorporated and released in a timely fashion

  • Manage data integrity within Agile software and champion documentation best practices, policies, and procedures

  • Verify documentation accuracy and compliance with established procedures

  • Train new employees and internal customers on internal documentation related processes, including proper document retrieval

  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives for documentation and ECO practices

  • Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of the Quality Management System

Job Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a ISO 9001:2015 or AS9100D environment or 5+ years within Quality or Documentation

  • In lieu of degree: Minimum of six (6) years of change analyst and document review experience in a relevant work environment will be considered

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

  • Experience working with Agile or other Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems for configuration management

  • ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100D internal auditing experience preferred

  • Excellent written communication skills and verbal English skills

  • Ability to manage a complex schedule and handle multiple commitments

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Some history of managing projects and/or people

Physical Demands:

  • Office environment with constant sitting

Salary Range:

$74,800.00-$99,880.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
