The mandate of the Wealth Management Investment Platforms team is to drive technology strategy to deliver superior investment capabilities to our advisors and clients, with central focus on delivery of goals-based advice across all of our clients’ wealth. The WM Investment Platforms team manages products used by Financial Advisors across the firm. The team partners closely with business and technology groups to lead end to end execution of platform enhancements, from initial idea generation through implementation and roll-out.

_POSITION SUMMARY_ The mandate of the Investment Platforms organization is to drive technology strategy to deliver superior investment capabilities to our advisors and clients, with focus on delivery of goals based advice across all of our clients’ wealth. The team partners closely with business and technology groups to lead end to end execution of platform enhancements, from initial idea generation through implementation and roll-out. Focus areas include Goals Planning Systems, Advisory platforms and WealthDesk, CRM and 3D/Client Reporting.

As part of the Investment Platforms team, this individual will provide program management support and oversight for select initiatives. This role will coordinate across a multi-disciplinary team with a key focus on program delivery, risk monitoring, scope management, budgetary tracking and management reporting. The individual will collaborate with partners in Technology and Product Management to deliver solutions for Clients and Financial Advisors.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Work with Leadership/Stakeholders to prioritize key features and Business outcomes in alignment with strategy and budget

· Lead problem solving discussions around key business risks and dependencies (internal/external) and updates to leadership

· Partner with Fleet Leadership and Product Owners to conduct current state analysis and set strategy

· Provide support related to product governance, Legal, Risk & Compliance business launch and testing strategy

· Assist in the development of the target operating, service, and support models

· Support Engagement & Adoption strategy, and provide support for pilot and business launch

· Maintain strong partnerships with teams across the business and technology teams to drive successful execution

Provide transparency to stakeholders into progress towards goals, including leading governance

· Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact at multiple levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately

· Ability to drive cross functional teams, including product management, UX, technology, analytics, marketing, risk, and compliance

· Problem solving and consensus-building skills

· Strong presentation skills, including ability to create PowerPoint presentations for various levels of management

· Knowledge of Agile Methodology and SDLC processes (e.g., Waterfall)

· Ability to organize and prioritize work

· Strong analytical skills, ability to conduct data analysis in Microsoft Excel and identify data points critical for decision making

· Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail

· Independent self-starter who can manage multiple activities to aggressive deadlines

· Strong time management skills and ability to drive projects to completion within budget

· Eagerness to learn the business and understand technical requirements

· Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, TEAMS and SharePoint

· BS/BA degree required

· Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in project management, product management or technology

· Experience in the financial services industry, Wealth Management, or consulting

· Agile training a plus, but not required

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
