Wholesale Planner - Calvin Klein

We're seeking a dynamic and thorough Wholesale Planner to be an active partner in managing the total lifecycle of our Mens Tommy Hilfiger Underwear and Mens Nike Underwear wholesale business. This role is pivotal in preparing forecasts, evaluating performance, and leading the development of seasonal business plans to drive critical initiatives and manage budgets effectively. Collaborating closely with sales, demand planning, operations, and wholesale account partners, you'll play a key role in achieving our financial and company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • ​​Create seasonal strategies to drive division and brand objectives

  • Establish pre-season sales, inventory, markdown and margin plans with key retail partners

  • Analyze past performance to inform future strategies

  • Facilitate seasonal review of assortment productivity by style and distribution, and make recommendations for future growth

  • Participate in market meetings and business reviews to ensure key programs drive growth

  • Run in-season growth in partnership with wholesale accounts

  • Maintain seasonal Open-to-Buy (OTB: reforecast) and recommend adjustments based on performance

  • Handle and re-forecast projections via excel based tools, including ladders, assortment plans and weekly performance trackers

  • Identify and track key strategies implemented by location and across assortment categories – communicate findings and work with teams quickly to react and impact trend

  • Evaluate KPI to assess sales and shipment risk/opportunity Lead quarterly margin settlement process and validate retailer records ​

  • Drive key initiatives and strategies through analytics, reports and tools, ensuring quantifiable results through structured approaches and rigorous analysis

  • Identify new opportunities and utilize standardized and automated reports, as well as in-depth ad hoc analysis

  • Quickly establish credibility with and develop relationships with key partners internally and externally

  • Cultivate an encouraging, positive, collaborative, results-oriented work environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3-5 years demonstrated ability in wholesale planning

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and Pivot Tables, and strong PowerPoint skills

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Clear understanding of retail math and financial metrics, including sales, gross margin, and markup as well as cost accounting

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex materials in an organized and compelling manner

  • Proficient in managing and analyzing data from multiple sources.

  • Ability to problem solve independently and collaborate effectively with key partners

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity

  • Manage the business at point of sale and balance the needs of generating sales volume and maintaining profitability. Identify issues/ opportunities and strategies at an account, class/ style level. As a result, the retail analyst must weigh all options and make recommendations on future pricing strategies designed to maximize both of these concerns simultaneously

  • Must be able to work in a dynamic, ever changing environment with flexibility and foresight. Forward thinking, detail oriented & innovative traits necessary. Should have comfort working with standardized spreadsheets / reporting formats, but have the ability to create ad-hoc reporting to address problems as they arise

  • Needs to be able to meet the demands of a hectic, fast paced environment where priorities are changing frequently. In addition, this person needs to be comfortable juggling the needs and demands of multiple accounts, account executives, and departmental management. Minimal travel required for business

Pay Range:$85,000 - $105,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
