New York University Visiting Clinical Faculty in Computer Science (open rank) for Fall 2025 in New York, New York
The Computer Science Department of the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University, invites applications for a full-time Visiting Clinical Faculty position beginning in September 2025.
The position is a 1 year contract that is potentially renewable for up to a total of 3 years. The appointment will be at the rank of Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor, Visiting Clinical Associate Professor or Visiting Clinical Professor. The position is non-tenured and non-tenure-track.
The successful applicant will teach three courses during each of the fall and spring semesters in the department's undergraduate and/or graduate program and is invited to participate in curricular development, program administration, and other educational activities.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $135,000 for the rank of Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor, $100,000 - $160,000 for the rank of Visiting Clinical Associate Professor, and $125,000 - $185,000 for the rank of Visiting Clinical Full Professor. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organization considerations.
MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
