WarnerMedia seeks a Sales & Distribution, Macro Strategy MBA Intern for the Sales & Dist – Strategy Tur department.
The Macro Strategy team focuses on the development and execution of business strategies across all WarnerMedia Sales and Distribution revenue streams including Network Distribution, Content Licensing, Home Entertainment, Ad Sales and the Otter Media properties. As a part of this team, you will work on transforming our business model in areas that include network distribution and optimization, valuation of IP across evolving distribution windows, and evaluating new revenue and growth opportunities in transition from wholesale to retail.
Work within the macro strategy team on researching, developing, and presenting various revenue generation strategies across Network Distribution, Content Licensing, Home Entertainment and Ad Sales from a consumer-first perspective
Collaborate with internal cross-functional stakeholders (Network Distribution, Content Licensing, Home Entertainment, Ad Sales and the Otter Media properties) on analyzing and synthesizing all of the key impacts of these strategies.
Attend virtual meetings to develop an understanding of the various Stakeholder needs, Network brands and current business models.
Deep trend analysis across key business areas
Monitor competitor and industry trends on changes across the DTC and existing ecosystems
Student must be currently enrolled in an MBA program.
Passion for all things media and entertainment as well as a consumer-first mindset
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
Ability to conceptualize, structure, and build plans for businesses and new ventures
Strong analytics and financial modeling skills, with an aptitude for data-driven decision-making
Comfortable with ambiguity/uncertainty
Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for full duration of the internship.
Fall 2021 program dates are Sept 20th- Dec 10th; must be available for full program duration.
Part-time schedule (20 hours/week) designed to work around class schedule.
Fully remote/virtual experience; company owned laptop provided for the duration of the internship program.
Salary based on office location; relocation is not provided.
