Conduct data analysis, scripting, and updates for real-time and batch processing. Install & configure software tools, including hotfixes and upgrades. Work with development team to develop and support Operations technology and Data Warehouse. Migrate existing middle-office applications to the latest software infrastructure. Re-architect existing pipelines and develop new pipelines for outbound and inbound partner/vendor data consumption. Develop monitoring and validation services to support trade critical Start of Day analytics. Develop data synchronization pipelines to enable flows to AWS cloud-based warehousing. Support existing software with quick troubleshooting and issue resolution. Follow agile methodologies as part of an empowered team. REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of [or a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in as stated above and 3 years of] experience as an IT Systems Analyst, Tech Lead, or similar. Experience must include the following: Utilizing SQL, relational and non-relational database technologies, (e.g., Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle) to support database management, governance, and analysis, including troubleshooting and issue resolution; Working with service-oriented and object-oriented development using programming languages such as Python or Java; API creation and RESTful services; Middle and back-office batch processing of large data transfers (e.g., trade flow settlement, End-of-day and start-of-day accounts and positions extracts); Amazon AWS or Azure cloud architecture development; Jira, CI/CD, full-stack development and agile frameworks; Linux and shell scripting; and Working with a team of application developers, whether on or offshore.
