Vice President, Global Equities Trading Analytics UX product Manager

Job Description:

The Global Equities Product Team is looking for a Product Manager with Strong UX experience to drive the strategy to build the #1 trader desktop on the street. The is a front office role sitting on the trading desk working directly with trader to Define, Design and Drive Trader desktop workflow Implementation, working with other Product manager and engineering across all desktop applications (OMS/EMS, Trader analytics, CRM, Positions Systems, Bloomberg..).

Responsibilities

  • Define the overall strategy and roadmap for the Bofa Equities Desktop and be a product owner for “TraderCentral” platform

  • Work with Product Managers and engineering teams to drive Trader workflow implementation

  • Apply product management best practices to creatively solve complex, ambiguous, and novel problems.

  • Become an “Activist” for UI/UX best practices across the organization, including accessibility

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience delivering software with strong focus on UX and workflows

  • Experience with end-to-end software product delivery and working closely with Engineering

  • Excelling at wireframing/prototyping with tools like Sketch or Balsamic

  • Solid understanding of Product Management best practices and User centered design Principals

  • Demonstrable Ability to manage by influence

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Some financial industry Experience with complex user workflows

  • Data and Metric driven

Good to Have

  • Demonstrated user obsession

  • Technical background

  • Experience with real time trading, analytics and technology stack

  • Knowledge of equities, options, FX, or futures trading microstructure (tick data)
