THE ROLE: Vice President, Cyber Security Practice

The Vice President, Cyber Security Practice will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy, vision, and goals of the cyber security practice at Presidio. You will lead a team of talented cyber security consultants, analysts, and engineers who deliver high-quality solutions to clients across various industries. You will also oversee the business development, client relationship, and project management aspects of the cyber security practice. You will report directly to the Chief Solutions Officer and work closely with other senior leaders in the firm.

Job Summary:

The Vice President, Cyber Security Practice will:

  • Develop and implement the strategy, vision, and goals of the cyber security practice, aligned with the firm's overall mission and values.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of cyber security professionals, ensuring their technical excellence, professional development, and career progression.
  • Oversee all presales and delivery of cyber security solutions to clients, ensuring high-quality, timely, and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Manage the business development, client relationship, and project management aspects of the cyber security practice, including identifying new opportunities, managing budgets and resources.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, vendors, and regulators.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, threats, and best practices in the cyber security domain, and provide thought leadership and insights to the firm and the industry.
  • Represent the firm and the cyber security practice in external events, such as conferences, webinars, and media interviews.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated expertise in various cyber security domains, such as risk assessment, governance, compliance, incident response, threat intelligence, penetration testing, and security architecture.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful cyber security solutions to clients across various industries and sectors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive innovation and growth.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel nationally 50%

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or a professional certification in cyber security is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in the cyber security field, with at least 5+ years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and leadership to maximize performance.
  • Demonstrated strength in analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex business concepts.
  • Results oriented, with a high bias for action with a sense of urgency and a strong ownership of accountability.
  • Ability to conceptualize and present complex concepts.
