The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary
The Clinical Research Core is seeking a data analyst. Will work with researchers and Principal Investigators to provide data analytical support on research projects.
Responsibilities
- Extracting data from source documents for database entry.
- Management of multiple databases related to ongoing and previous data collection.
- Integration of clinical and research data bases.
- Coordinating data backup and transfers between research studies
- Managing clinical and research databases.

- Oversee data quality assurance and control.
- Manuscript development.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of research proposals and data collection protocols (particularly collection of gut and oral biological samples).
- Preparation and presentation of findings at conferences and meetings.
- Collaborating with research personnel and investigators.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
- Prefer a Master's in epidemiology and some experience working with high performance computing clusters is preferable.
- The successful candidate must possess computer proficiency with excellent data management and data analysis skills, including extensive knowledge of SAS and Excel, and a working knowledge of R statistical software packages.
- Familiarity with epidemiological design and statistical analysis is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential.
- Advanced level MS Office skills
