Technology Consulting, Non-Financial Services, Senior Consultant – ServiceNow: This position could be located in NY, NJ, NC, GA, IL, PA, MA.

Our Risk Technology Solution Delivery practice helps clients modernize systems, processes, and products to enhance business and customer-facing platforms and services to support high performance in a rapidly changing, competitive environment. The team leverages eGRC platforms, Microservices, Cloud, API Management, and open-source technologies to enable end-to-end automation with safe and sound architecture at optimum cost.

The Risk Technology Solution Delivery team is changing how clients interact with their customers, employees, and partners. We are modernizing their applications, creating new ones, and driving business efficiency across their ever-changing platform and channel infrastructures. Everything we do centers around this simple story.

What we look for

We seek highly motivated Senior ServiceNow consultants to successfully deliver ServiceNow solutions and services in a client consulting environment with a dedicated team of industry-experienced resources.

Your key responsibilities

The Senior ServiceNow Consultant will be responsible for leading project implementations and developing, investing, and maintaining thought leadership with deep subject matter expertise related to the ServiceNow platform, product capabilities, and complementary technologies in a client-consulting environment, including Integrated Risk Management (Policy & Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management), Third-party Risk Management (TPRM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), Service Portal/Employee Center, NOW Experience, and UI Builder. Lead all technical aspects of offering development, project delivery, and solution delivery on the ServiceNow platform, including:

Skills and attributes for success

  • Lead the technical team on implementation project teams, directing other technical consultants and testers.

  • Assist Engagement Lead in workshops to gather agile user stories/epics/features using ServiceNow Agile or client-preferred Agile software.

  • Direct customers on best practices across ServiceNow products and platforms.

  • Develop Offerings, Solutions, and Designs for product implementations.

  • Deliver Application UI Configuration and Workflow Configuration.

  • Development of client-specific reporting needs, including Performance Analytics.

  • Interface with ServiceNow technical product teams as needed.

  • Prepare all client-facing and internal deliverables that are technology-related.

  • Drive the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences.

  • Be the Subject Matter Expert on the delivery of ServiceNow solutions.

  • Creation and delivery of solutions for customers addressing requirements through technical architecture in consideration of process design and technical best practices and standards

  • Collaborate and contribute to creating, deploying, and maintaining Technical Best Practices and Standards.

  • Ensuring technical deliverables are complete, consistent, high quality, on time, and deliver valued outcomes.

  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 20%.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Minimum 6 years of demonstrated experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.

  • 4+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience with IRM (GRC) implementations in a client consulting environment is required.

  • Proficiency with Agile project management and delivery methodologies.

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in technical consulting and client-facing roles required

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Certifications in Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-Risk and Compliance and CIS-TPRM), and Application Developer (CAD).

  • Industry Certifications, including SAFe Product Owner, SAFe Implementer, SAFe Agilist, and Scrum Master, are also preferred.

  • Maintain all certifications and micro certifications and continual progression in developer learning plans.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present and articulately explain technical information.

  • Ability to understand and interpret business needs and identify appropriate business and technical solutions to meet those needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons, and risks) around all critical technical decisions during project delivery.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with ServiceNow Next in UI design configuration, implementation, development, standard list/form/navigation updates, workflows, instance management, and creating tables and fields.

  • Experience with SDLC, Agile Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies. Excellent communication skills, team player, drives processes, and actively owns deliverables.

  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow Platform end-to-end delivery processes; advanced functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow IRM/GRC best practices.

  • Familiarity with the platform data model including CSDM, data analytics, data reporting, ServiceNow Process; strong process development, facilitating requirements for ServiceNow implementations and ServiceNow integration (SOAP, REST, XML), automation, and workflows.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in the creation and modification of various Access Controls (ACLs), Business Rules, Scripting, Ajax Query, Glide Scripting, Jelly Scripts, Java Scripting, UI Policies; Service Portals (Widgets, Server Scripting, Client Scripting, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Portal Configuration); ServiceNow version experience; Vancouver, Tokyo, San Diego, Rome, Quebec, Paris, and Orlando.

  • Strong interest in cloud computing and related technologies, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $101,100 to $166,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,300 to $189,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
