Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Hands on technical leadership and collaboration to grow and enhance Guidehouse’s world-class Digital service offerings through Agile methodologies and tools

  • Lead one or more teams to develop and execute digital, data visualizations of our work products for clients

  • Effectively manage, develop, and guide direct reports through mentoring and coaching

  • Define future learning and growth opportunities to increase the use of our transformative technologies. Leveraging customer digital knowledge and analytical skills, especially as it relates to project management, project facilitation, and the development of client proposals

  • Communicate digital enablement concepts to Guidehouse’s business audiences. Researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry, and technical matters, including leveraging the ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Experience with and ability to develop and maintain detailed software design documentation

  • Understanding of basic Human Centered Design philosophy, comfortable with ambiguity and pushing design methodologies. Knowledge of usability best practices. Working knowledge of UI tools and techniques

  • Construction of information architectures for any size organizations and apply business and customer-level strategies to a user experience

  • Ability to translate client business requirements, user needs, and technical capabilities into an experience that is easy to use, and emotionally engaging

  • Past experience on teams that have created new products as well as improved existing ones

  • Candidate must have experience working in a deadline driven environment and must be able to manage workload to meet customer deadlines



  • 3-5 working in a consulting capacity/environment providing technology implementation or engineering projects, IT Service Management or Service Delivery support services.

  • Demonstrated understanding of enterprise IT environments and the interrelationships of its associated components.

  • Solid MS Office skills, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other analysis and reporting tools

  • Strong organizational, management, oral and written communications skills

  • Background in software development as part of the daily task and release management work

  • Experience with systems design and architecture

  • Experience in Agile software development

  • Demonstrable experience with mapping technology implementation to business processes.

  • Ability to analyze organizational data and complex problems; interpret and recommend alternative courses of actions;

  • Ability to lead/conduct structured interviews of technical and non-technical staff across organizational boundaries

  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.

  • Conduct initial research and analysis on technology trends.

  • Recognized Agile (i.e., SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban, extreme programming (XP), lean, Scrumban, etc.) certified professional.

  • Experience with JIRA/TFS and MS Azure/AWS cloud platforms.

  • Minimum Degree Required: 4-yrs Bachelor's degree, Master’s preferred, in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

  • Able to obtain Secret Clearance


  • Proven experience in a consulting and/or client-facing environment

  • Working knowledge of emerging technologies

  • Cloud certified professional (i.e., AWS Associate Solutions Architect or similar, and/or Microsoft Azure Associate Solutions Architect Certification or similar)

  • Possesses an active Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or comparable project/program management certification.

  • Development of IT Strategy and Roadmap for IT Modernization of an organization

  • Possesses an active Secret Clearance.

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Angular 2+, React/Redux, NodeJS, ES6, etc.) with Material UI, Bootstrap 4, and .NET application development

  • Demonstrated experience with RDBMS development and management, MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.

  • Experience with CI/CD (Continues Integration/Continues Deployment): Git; VSTS (Visual Studio Team Services), Azure DevOps, or TFS (Team Foundation Services) or JIRA, and other code management and collaboration tools
