Overview:
- Insurance Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college intern tjoin our Tax Qualified Plans Team. This part-time internship offers an excellent opportunity tgain hands-on experience in the financial services industry, specifically within the realms of retirement plan operations and analytics. You will work alongside industry professionals, contributing tinternal account reviews and a variety of special projects that support our retail annuities business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the Tax Qualified Plans Team, including internal account reviews and project support.
- Analyze data and prepare reports using Excel tmonitor and track key metrics.
- Collaborate with team members across various departments tensure seamless operations.
- Support ad hoc tasks and contribute ideas timprove operational processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
- Completion of at least 1-2 years of college coursework is preferred (sophomore/junior standing).
- Prior internship or volunteer experience in a related field is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of data analytics and metrics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability twork both independently and as part of a team.
- Interest: A genuine interest in the retirement plan landscape and financial services is highly desirable.
