Position Overview

The SVP, Data Strategy will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive data strategy to drive growth within our Market Access and Payer division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, a strong background in market access data analytics, and a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and data product sales in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Inform and implement a data strategy that aligns with our Market Access and Payer division’s overall vision and goals.

  • Lead the identification and prioritization of data-driven opportunities to drive growth within the Market Access and Payer division.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape and influence proprietary product development processes and strategies.

Team Management:

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team to leverage data and analytics to support Market Access initiatives, enhance relationships, and drive business growth.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

  • Ensure the team has the resources and support needed to achieve their goals.

Data Analytics and Insights:

  • Oversee the development and deployment of advanced analytics and data models to support market access strategies of the payer data suite

  • Utilize data to generate actionable customer insights and inform decision-making processes.

  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of data across the organization.

Market Access and Payer Collaboration:

  • Partner with market access and payer teams to understand their needs and develop data-driven solutions.

  • Enhance relationships with client partners through the provision of strategic insights and informed by in-house data sets.

  • Support value-based contracting and reimbursement strategies with robust data analysis.

Growth and Innovation:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and technologies that can drive growth.

  • Lead negotiations and secure strategic partnerships to enhance market positioning and revenue streams.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in market access data analytics and healthcare.

  • Champion the use of innovative data solutions to address market access challenges.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of data strategies and business development efforts.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on progress, challenges, and outcomes.

  • Continuously evaluate and refine strategies based on performance data and stakeholder feedback

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in data strategy, business development, or a related role, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing data strategies that drive business growth.

  • Strong understanding of data governance, data analytics, and data management practices.

  • Excellent business acumen and ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

  • Proven track record of selling to PharmaBbiotech in both agency services and Market Access data solutions.

  • Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring high-performing teams.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary range: $200,000-$260,000

The salary range provided represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
