Subrogation Paralegal - Hybrid

Beacon Hill Legal is searching for a Subrogation Paralegal for a major law firm's midtown Manhattan office. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in office and a salary ranging from $75,000-$100,000.

This person should have at least 3 years of subrogation experience in a law firm setting. This person must have experience with drafting court documents, efiling, and managing discovery.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and summarize damages.
• Draft complaints, motions to compel, and other discovery motions.
• Propound and respond to discovery.
• Manage case files including creation, organization, tracking, and maintenance.
• Handle document management tasks such as document review, bates labeling, and organizing documents for discovery responses, pleadings, and motions.
• Coordinate scene examinations, destructive testing, and depositions.
• Review financial and business records and prepare chronologies.
• Prepare FOIA requests.
• Conduct witness investigations.
• Assist in trial and deposition preparation.
• E-file in both state and federal courts.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as a Subrogation Paralegal in a law firm
• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate.
