Unqork, Inc. Staff Software Engineer in New York, New York
Staff Software Engineer (Platform Data): Responsibilities & duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: (1) Focus on providing uniform access & data mgmt capabilities for the Unqork platform; (2) Address Unqork's data concerns ranging from security & compliance to performance & reliability; (3) Help to lead & contribute to the platform's data concerns around providing various data capabilities; (4) Contribute to improving the performance, flexibility & scalability of the platform from a data perspective. Reqmts: (1) 5+ yrs of exp in back-end (website s/ware) engg; (2) Exp steering projects of increasing scope & complexity; (3) Ability to set technical standards for engineers; (4) Exp implmtg impactful & complex s/ware projects; (5) Proficiency in data modeling, normalization, query & indexing strategies; (6) Exp w/ NoSQL d/bases, REST &/or GraphQL; (7) Exp w/ any mainstream back-end language; (8) Bachelor's deg in Comp Sci or Engg; (9) Opportunity to work from home, anywhere in the U.S. Any suitable combo of education, training, or exp is acceptable.
