The Brand Growth team within Sponsored Products and Brands organization is on a mission to make Amazon the best in class destination for advertisers to engage shoppers, and to make shopping a delightful and personalized experience for shoppers. Our team builds deeper brand understanding, that is foundational for Amazon ads and search experience. We provide large-scale offline and online brand understanding data services, powered by cutting edge Machine Learning technologies (e.g., Large-Language-Model, Multi-Modal Deep Neural Networks, Statistical Modeling). Our signals and self-service controls enable brands to not only align their unique value proposition with customers' shopping intent on Amazon, but also measure and improve their brand performance via actionable insights and reports.

Within this space, our team is looking for a talented, energetic and passionate Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our team. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in the design of exciting greenfield projects and overcome complex technical, business and customer experience challenges at scale. You will work in a fast-paced environment and take on unique challenges that will have a highly visible impact on our growing business. You will be responsible for collecting business and system requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, budgets, establishing and driving project plans from design to release, and managing production launches. You will be a catalyst for effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple geographically separated groups delivering jointly on highly-visible mission-critical systems. You will contribute to our success with your hands-on project management skills, deep technical expertise, good understanding of business, and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the end-to-end project management functions of large programs including planning, risk and issue management, trade-offs and execution.

  • Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.

  • Effectively cooperate with customers, technical staff and leaders, business leaders and executives to define and deliver complex features.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, define and plan programs in a fast paced engineering and science focused organization, and secure buy in from internal and external stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 3+ years of software development experience

  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design

  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
